That's actually a really good point...huh... Yes, I wouldn't agree with forcing people to "upgrade" I'm only for "upgrading" the willing(myself for example).

true, but there is a difference between medicine and fixing that which is not broken. why take drugs if you don't suffer from major depressive disorders? the only justification for it would be individual rights - people do with their own bodies what the hell pleases them.. but when it comes to redesigning the human genes, that's not about individual rights anymore...

Universally the natural way is most accepted and preferred, with good reason, but the people that happen to have ADD or ADHD(.3% of all children) need something besides natural treatment to stay happy. They need unnatural drugs to calm them down or reduce their ability to have emotions it's debatable that some of them are just children that are odd (Like myself) and don't actually have a chemical imbalance, but the ones that do have an imbalance need more than therapy to get by.

well just because i drink a few litres of water a day doesn't mean i should go on and drink 14 litres of it (which would kill me)...

There's nothing wrong with wanting to be more than what you are... But there's something wrong with changing the very core of humanity. I believe in being happy without the need of genetic engineering or drugs to do so. That would be more rewarding. The natural way.

Hellooo, I said PRIMATES, loser. :)(Just FYI: whales are definitely not primates. Not even close. And still FYI: differences in brain size only count between species with comparable levels of brain COMPLEXITY.)

Also, the individuals featured in this video seem rather immature and silly. |
