How to sew together granny squares. Both squares are ones that I made up with my scrap yarn. I never write my patterns down because I didn't like writing patterns. I have gotten better lately about writing patterns. http://crochet-mania.blogspot.... Playlist http://www.youtube.com/my_play... Channel http://www.youtube.com/tjw1963... I don't pierce through the yarn. On occasion I may go through a strand unintentionally, which won't hurt anything if it does happen. Each stitch creates a space towards the top of the stitch. I go through the space or hole.

Are you sewing into the holes or into the yarn directly!

I am estimating about 3 inches, maybe a little larger.

Teresa, what size do you estimate this granny square would be, if you did it with size 10 thread? Thank you.
tjw1963 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
No, it is not necessary to wash before use.
