my father use to fly these fantastic aircrafts, and they were awesome!! got some amazing photos round our family home - there is even a joystick from a buccaneer when they were disbanded in the dining room!!

These videos always depress me in that they demonstrate the generally unfulfilled potential of British Aviation. We have the expertise to make world-beating aircraft, and yet are barred from doing so through want of funding. The cancellation of the mighty TSR2 is the obvious example, and had it not been for US interest, the Harrier would never have become the aircraft it did.Still, we did have the Bucc, the Lightning and the mighty Vulcan. Hopefully, the new carriers will restore pride.
