Danklin24You're right, you are certainly entitled to your opinion. It took me many years to like Jeff Beck, but I have to say his tone IMHO is awesome, and he achieves things with a Strat that few can do. I don't like his "fusion" stuff much, but his blues/rock based playing is incredible. This is probably the weakest version of Brush with the Blues, but this is an increadible Tour'de Force of his chops. Jeff,like his tone or not, stands at the top of a genre.

I'm a dumbass for having an opinion? Interesting. I dont like his tone, plain and simple. I dont like any of his songs and yes, i think he's overrated. If you dont, thats fine, but dont start name calling because someone has a different opinion that you.Shithead. :)

Ok how does he play like that without a pic? As you can tell by my question I'm a novice when it comes to the guitar. I'm just curious because it sounds like he's using a pic but when the camara does a closeup it's just his fingers. From what I understand, the pic is used for precision, I thought he was using one but he's not.

that would be a mistake, jeff beck fails everything that is jazz in some way.. jeff beck does not fit into a jazz festival and not the montreux..oh no!
